Kathy Davis Wiley, LFD
Mrs. Kathy Davis Wiley was born in Jefferson County, Georgia to the late James Anderson Davis and Virginia Farmer Davis, both Licensed Funeral Directors. She graduated early from Louisville High School in 1971. Kathy was so determined to follow the career paths of her parents, she attended Savannah State University graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Business Administration in 1975. Kathy is now the owner, manager and a Licensed Funeral Director at Davis Funeral Home in Louisville, Georgia. She is also a Licensed Insurance Agent and a member of the National Association Advancement for Colored People (NAACP) and the Jefferson County Democratic Party. She is the owner and developer of the prestigious Davis Ridge Subdivision, the first subdivision located in her hometown of Louisville. Kathy is a member of the Greater St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. She is the mother of two sons, Lee Odell Hannah III and Orienthal Andre’ “Dre” Hannah who is also a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. She is married to Jimmie Wiley, License Apprentice, also working in support of Kathy.
Kathy is the hallmark of a leading lady. A woman of God who demonstrates passion in what she does in the community, with her family and with her colleagues. She has worked constantly and honestly to fulfilled the dream of becoming what she was destined to do by her Lord and Savior. She shows compassion for her families who are grieving due to the loss of a loved one or just someone who needs counsel and offers them the best optimal care. She has made significant contributions in the funeral industry and the community. The Davis Funeral Home motto is, “We go that second mile, ask those we have served”. Through her hard work and dedication, she has received many awards and accomplishments throughout her calling as a Funeral Director. 6th District Georgia Funeral Service Practitioners Association Mortician of the Year 2018. She was nominated 2008 Women of Distinction, M Athalie Range Trailblazer Award, of the 100 Black Women of Funeral Service, recognized in the City of Louisville with Kathy Davis Day.
She is a member of the 6th District Georgia Funeral Service Practitioners Association (GFSPA), State GFSPA, National Funeral Director and Mortician Association (NFDMA), 5th District NFDMA.
